Rosé, listed in Guinness in two categories, beating PSY's record after 8 years.

Black Pink Rose was officially listed in two Guinness World Records with the title song 'On The Ground' which is her first solo album.

On the 9th (local time), Guinness World Records in the UK announced on its official website that Rosé's solo song 'On The Ground' was recognized as 'the Most Watched YouTube video of K-pop solo artists in 24 hours after the release'.

The music video for 'On The Ground' recorded 41.6 million views on YouTube on the first day. Guinness explained that this was a breakthrough of Psy's 'Gangnam Style' (36 million views), the previous highest record of K-pop solo artists in the past, in about eight years.

In addition, it was confirmed that Rosé was the first artist to be ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Global Charts as a solo and a group. 'On The Ground' reached the top of Billboard Global, which ranks the rankings based on the sales of streaming and sound sources collected in more than 200 regions around the world.

With this, Rosé will hold the second No.1 song on the Billboard Global Charts following Black Pink's first full album title song'Lovesick Girls' released in October 2020.

The British Guinness World Records added meaning as "congratulations to Rosé's acquisition of the Guinness title" and "the beginning of her career as a solo artist."

Meanwhile, the number of subscribers of Black Pink, which has a total of 27 billion-large-view videos on YouTube, is on a steady rise and is currently reaching 60 million.

This is also noteworthy as it is rapidly catching up with the number of subscribers of Justin Bieber, the unrivaled number one female artist in the world and the top all artists on YouTube.
