While the girl group BLACKPINK has established itself as the most popular girl group in the world, interest in the follow-up girl group Baby Monster (tentative title) of YG Entertainment is gathering.

YG Entertainment, which launched top-tier K-pop girl groups BLACKPINK and 2NE1, is drawing attention for their upcoming girl group, Baby Monster.

On March 25, Star News revealed details about YG's forthcoming girl group which is initially named "Baby Monster." As girl group BLACKPINK is becoming the most popular girl group in the world, attention is drawing attention to their sister group that will attempt to create their path to success.

Black Pink, which debuted in 2016, is celebrating its sixth year of debut this year. In the meantime, Black Pink has risen to the ranks of popular global girl groups beyond Korea. The number of subscribers to the official YouTube channel is more than the number of Korean people, and their music video is based on 'Billion View'. Not only as a team, but also Jenny and Rosé's solo activities as well as the group activities, gathering global hot reactions, and the group's 'Global No. 1 Girl group' status is remarkable.

Baby Monster is a group that follows these "sisters".  From last year, K-pop fans have already collected great interest in member composition and debut timing. Fans predict that considering 2NE1's debut in 2009 and Black Pink in 2016, the outline of YG's new girl group will gradually emerge.
