Another super star couple is born!
Kang Daniel, 24 and Jihyo of Twice, 23 officially admitted dating rumor after a local media broke the news, reporting the two stars had started dating and revealed photos of Jihyo arriving at Kang’s house in Hannam-dong, Seoul.
On August 5, JYP Entertainment and Konnect Entertainment, their labels respectively, confirmed the couple's romantic relationship.
"The two people are in a relationship under which (they) are dating and interested (in each other).
Regarding the exact time line of their relations, "We did not check yet as it is a private matter", Konnect Entertainment said to Starnews.
Kang Daniel rose to the stardom through Korea's biggest audition program 'Produce 101' season 2. The 22-year-old’s solo album is now a breakthrough success after Wanna One, which disbanded this year after a final concert. Jihyo debuted as a member of girl group 'TWICE in 2015. Twice is currently on a world tour and is scheduled to perform in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Aug. 17.
Kang has released his first solo album 'Color on Me' recently and made a record as he first debut album to reach 460,000 sales.
He later made a one person company 'Konnect' after departing from LM Entertainment. He filed a suit against his previous agency LM, requesting to suspend his contract with the firm, citing contract violations.
