According to the latest Billboard rankings announced on January 11, SNSD’s fourth EP, I Got A Boy, which was released on January 1, ranked first on the World Albums Chart. This is proof of SNSD’s growing popularity worldwide.

SNSD also showed off their power in the Korean music industry with “I Got A Boy,” which ranked first on the K-pop Hot 100.

Their EP ranked second on the Heatseekers Albums, which tells about the week’s top-selling albums by new or upcoming acts, defined as those who have never appeared in the top 100 of the Billboard chart.

SNSD appeared on the January 10 episode of Mnet’s M Countdown, where they ranked first for the first time on a music program in Korea.
