BTS to release the 2022 Qatar World Cup campaign song on the 23rd

Top idol group BTS (BTS, RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Sugar, V, Jungkook) will unveil the 'GOTC, Goal of the Century' campaign song to commemorate the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 23rd that it will release the official sound source for the Goal of the Century campaign song on domestic and foreign music streaming platforms such as Melon and Spotify at 6 pm on the 23rd, and at the same time release the music video on Hyundai Motor's global YouTube channel 'Hyundai Worldwide'. Prior to the release of the music video, Hyundai Motor Company released a one-minute music video pre-release video on the same YouTube channel on the 22nd.

'Goal of the Century' is a campaign launched by Hyundai Motor Company from April to celebrate the '2022 FIFA World Cup 2022™ (hereinafter referred to as the 2022 World Cup)'. 

Through this campaign, Hyundai Motor plans to take the lead in realizing carbon neutrality at the 2022 World Cup and creating a sustainable world with people around the world united through soccer.

BTS was selected as a member of 'Team Century', a global brand ambassador for Hyundai Motor Company and launched to promote this campaign by Hyundai Motor Company. Hyundai Motor Company and BTS planned this campaign song to spread the message of 'Our Solidarity for a Sustainable World', the theme of the Goal of the Century campaign, and create synergy through the power of music.

The goal of the century campaign song 'Yet To Come' (Hyundai Ver.) is a remake of 'Yet To Come' (The Most Beautiful Moment), the title song of the album 'Proof' released by BTS in June.

At the same time, Hyundai Motor Company will start the TikTok Challenge 'TeamCentury12' through Hyundai Motor's official TikTok account so that soccer fans around the world can sympathize and enjoy the purpose of the Goal of the Century campaign from October 1st. Team Century 12 (#TeamCentury12), which expresses 'our solidarity' through the appearance of two or more people dancing shoulder-to-shoulder, contains a message to soccer fans around the world to join as the 12th member of Team Century.


Prior to the start of the challenge, BTS' TikTok Challenge teaser video will be uploaded to Hyundai Motor's official TikTok account on the 28th.
