IU Donates 200 Million Won to Combat Corona Virus

Singer and actress IU has donated a total of 200 million won to help to curve Corona 19. 

International relief and development NGO Good Neighbors said on February 27th that "IU has donated 100 million won for the prevention of infection of coronavirus infection (corona 19) to help low-income communities and vulnerable groups."

IU said, "I decided to donate to help local communities, low-income, vulnerable populations."

IU's donation will be used via Good Neighbors to deliver the quarantine items such as masks for low-income and vulnerable groups in in Daegu, Gyeongsang area. 

In addition to this, IU also donated another 100 million won for Medical Association.

IU's agency official also said, "IU has donated a total of 200 million won" to Star News on Thursday.

IU is well known for her good deeds in showbiz industry.
