While the girl group BLACKPINK is said to be carrying out a large global project, the agency said that "We will reward with good music."
An official from YG Entertainment told Star News on February 11 that "It is difficult to confirm at this point" about BLACKPINK's global project.
Afterwards, "We will give back fans who have been waiting for with good music and good news," he said. "Please wait for an official announcement later."
BLACKPINK is reportedly in the midst of preparing a new album with the aim of releasing it earlier this year.
Earlier this year, BLACKPINK released 'Kill This Love' in April of last year, setting the highest score of K-pop girl group by being ranked 41st on the Billboard main chart 'Hot 100' and 42nd on 'Billboard 200'.
