South Korean boy group X1 (Kim Yohan, Kim Woo-suk, Han Seung-woo, Song Hyung-joon, Cho Seung-yeon, Son Dong-pyo, Lee Han-gyeol, Nam Do-hyun, Cha Jun-ho,
Gang Min-hee, Lee Eun-sang) have announcing they are disbanding, just six months after they were formed on Produce X 101.

Their labels - Play M Entertainment, Yuehua Entertainment, TOP media, We Entertainment, MBK Entertainment, Ullim Entertainment, DSP Media, Starship Entertainment, and Brand New Music released the statement, saying that "The X1 members and each of the agencies negotiated under the condition of unanimous agreement, but we could not come to an agreement, so we have decided on their disbandment."

X1 is a boy band made from Produce 101 season 4. But when allegations were emerged that the finalists was already pre-decided before votes, and the main PD were detained, it has been inevitable for the 11 member group to continue the activity.

As a result, the group will be disbanded.
