As Korean idol group Big Bang's members G-Dragon (31, Kwon Ji-yong) and Taeyang (31, Dong Young-bae)'s discharge dates from military are approaching, many fans are expected to come to Cheolwon, Gangwon Province.
G-Dragon, who is serving in the 3rd Army Squadron Artillery Regiment, is expected to be discharged on October 26. To celebrate his completion of mandatory service, many fans are preparing to come to Cheolwon.
According to G-Dragon's fan association Twitter as of October 22, about 2,100 G-Dragon fans from Korea, Japan and China will visit Cheorwon, Gangwon Province on that day.TThey announced that they would meet at 2:00 AM in Seoul and will travel to Cheolwon on reserved tourist buses.
Subsequently, Taeyang who is serving in the 5th Army Brigade Brigade in Cheorwon will end his service on November 10th. Like G-Dragon, he is expected to attract a large crowd at his global ceremony.
In the meantime, South Korean administrative authorities have been struggling with the issue of quarantine. Currently, the African swine fever (ASF) virus has been detected in this area and local festivals have been canceled to prevent the spread of ASF.
