Police are stepping up their investigation into YG Entertainment's former representative. After the Burning Sun scandal, Yang resigned from YG CEO . However, the suspicions surrounding  Hyun Hyun-suk have not ceased to be settled. Police investigations are followed.

The police announced on Wednesday that they plan to conduct a summoning investigation against former President Hyun Hyun Suk through briefings and mentioned that they will conduct a summoning investigation next week.

Previously, the police mentioned that they conducted a five-hour raid on YG Entertainment's headquarters on the 17th, and said, "After the analysis is completed on seized items, the summoning investigation will be followed".

Just three days ago, on 14 August, the police announced that both Yang and Seungri are booked for habitual gambling overseas, as gambling is illegal in South Korea. It was revealed via an internal investigation into Yang's finances that the former CEO had gambled in Las Vegas as well as Macau. This is against South Korea's anti-gambling laws which included also overseas.
