South Korean actor Jung Woo Sung published a book. He is known to voice his supports and concern on refugee issue in Korea.

He was not afraid of public concern when he expressed his opinion about the refugee issue. Even though it might harm the image of the actor, he did not bend his thoughts.

On June 20, the '2019 Seoul International Book Fair' was held at COEX, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. In this event, Frank Remus, the UN representative from the UN refugee agency, attended the meeting.

At the press conference for his essay book 'If You Could See What I've Seen' on June 20, Jung said about criticism he received.

Jung Woo-sung was officially appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for UNHCR in June 2015 after he became Honorary Ambassador of UNHCR in May 2014. He met with refugees in Lebanon, Iraq, Bangladesh, and published what he felt during his visit.
