Steel Rain 2 Is Coming

Jung Woo Sung and Kwak Do-won are in talks for the film “Steel Rain 2"(working title). 

According to the movie industry as of June 5, two have discussed about the movie and decided to star in the sequel.

Directed by Yang Woo Seok, “Steel Rain” is about a powerful North Korean figure being moved to South Korea due to a coup. The film covered relations between North Korea and South Korea and nuclear war, gaining 4.55 million viewers as a result when it was released. Jung Woo Sung played the role of North Korea’s most elite agent Uhm Chul Woo, while Kwak Do Won took on the role of Kwak Chul Woo, South Korea’s chief of foreign affairs and national security and showed good chemistry. 

What is more surprising is that “Steel Rain 2” will continue to build upon the world created in the first film while two actors star in totally different roles. Jung who was North Korean agent will appear as a president of South Korea and Kwak will this time become North Korean agent. 

The movie will be invested and distributed by NEW as previously.
