Jang Hye Jin Says that She Ate Six Times a Day

South Korean actress Jang Hye Jin said she had to eat six meals a day to gain weight for the award winning movie 'Parasite'. 

On June 5, Jang had an interview with Starnews regarding her latest movie. She starred in the movie as a wife of Song Kang-ho.  

'Parasite' is a story of two families meeting that started when Ki-taek(played by Song Kang-ho)'s oldest son, Ki-woo (played by Choi Woo-sik) becomes a tutor of Mr. Park (played by Lee Sun-kyun). 

Jang Hye-jin said, "Director Bong Joon-ho offered me a role after seeing the movei 'Us'.  But when we met, he told me that I looked leaner than in the movie 'Us', and asked me to gain some weight. So, I gained 15 Kg.

Jang said, "I ate 6 meals to gain weight. After that, I exercised for 2 hours to lose the weight. There was even some pain in the knee.
