Choi Jong-hoon, ex-member of Band FT Island came to Seoul Central District Court to attend examination the validity of arrest warrant.
A judge conducted a warrant examination of three people including Choi Jong-hoon at 10:30 AM today.
Choi Ji hoon showed up with a lawyer at 10:10 am and went straight into the building without answering questions from the reporters with a stiff face.
On 12:15 PM, he showed up again after finishing the warrant examination with his hands handcuffed and tied. He was sent to the prison. He only said "Sorry", to the reporters.
The Investigation Unit of Crimes Against Women & Children under Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office requested an arrest warrant for three people including Choi Jong Hoon with a special rape charge under the Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence.
Choi Jong Hoon is being suspected of taking part in the gang rape along with the group chat's members and illegally filming the sex at a hotel in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province in January 2016 and Daegu in March 2016.
Police sent one of the three cases to the prosecution and two cases were distributed to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Women's and Juvenile Affairs Department. The police has summoned Choi from April 30 to May 1 and questioned if the sex was consensual. .
