On April 18, The Wrap has reported that Ma will joun the 'The Eternals'. The movie is based on the comic characters created by Jack Kirby, and focuses on super-powered, god-like beings who can control the space energy, describing the conflicts between Eternals and Deviants, the bad.
The future Marvel film is being directed by Chloé Zhao and Matthew Firpo and Ryan Firpo are working on the script, with Angelina Jolie likely to join the film.
Ma Dong-seok has been seeking ways for Hollywoods. It is known that he went to a high school in U.S so that he is fluent in English. After the Korean zombie movie 'Train to Busan', he received many love calls from American movie industry. In fact, he once said in 2017 that he was offered a role in Marvel series but had to reject due to other schedule in Korea.
