South Korean actress Kang Ye-won, 39 said that the title 'Thriller Queen' is too complimentary for her.
She had an interview on her latest film 'Watching' (directed by Kim Sung-ki) with Starnews at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Seoul on April 11, 2019.
'Watching' is a horror thriller that one day a woman is kidnapped suddenly in the underground parking lot, she tries to escape desperately from surveillance that watches her.
She said that "I only had a one role in movie 'Insane'(2016), but it seems to be like that I am now called as a thriller queen."
"I like thriller genre, but the nickname sounds like I did so many of such works so that while I was thankful, but later I was worried about what to do next.", she added.
Meanwhile, 'Watching' will be released on the 17th.
