According to a media as of January 2, two were seen together at a restaurant in Nonhyun-dong, southern part of Seoul. Two seemed not to be bothered by surroundings and others.

Hong Sang Soo and Kim Min Hee attended the media preview of the movie, 'Night at the Beach alone' in Korea in March 2017. The movie was directed by Hong and Kim starred as a heroine.
