Kang Sung Hoon Leaves YG Entertainment

Singer Kang Sung Hoon leaves SECHSKIES and YG Entertainment.

According to entertainment industry as of January 1, he will halt all of activities as a member of the group. Also he will discontinue the contract with YG Entertainment. 

He revealed his decision via 'Hooni World', a fanclub, adding that "With unexpected misunderstandings, I am very cautious about expressing my stance."

"Currently, I am in a situation that can’t predict my return.  Because of issues regarding my mental health, I came to the decision that delaying SECHSKIES’s activities will be a great inconvenience to the members. After a discussion, I and YG Entertainment agreed to end my contract as of December 31, 2018 and I will let go of all SECHSKIES activities. 

He was involved lots of controversy after a solo fan meeting in September and was not able to attend the group's concert in October. 

Later, he 'unfollowed' the rest of members and Yang Hyun Seok, CEO of YG.
