Microdot Apologizes For Parents' Fraud Happened 20 Years Ago

The police has announced to start an investigation on rapper Shin Jae-ho, better known by his stage name Microdot's parents fraud case that happened a long time ago. Microdot also offered a public apology on behalf of his parents.

The case was first reported on November 19 when victimes disclosed that Microdot's parents swindled them in Jecheon, Northern Chungcheong province and left the country for New Zealand."

Regarding the case, on November 20, Jecheon police said to Starnews that "Microdot's parents has borrowed money from about ten people and fled the country. They were accused of the charge in 1999. Since then, the investigation was suspended after the accused fled the country."

In the future, the police will request their return for further investigation and in case they are not willing to return,, the police will summon them through cooperation with interpol. 

Microdot also released an apology saying that, "I am sorry for those my parents have hurt," he said in a statement released by his agency Culture Think on Wednesday. "As earlierI denied the allegation and threatened to take legal action against those who raised it which hurted the victims twice. I am so sorry and would like to apology in person."
