Hyeyeon Leaves Gugudan

Jellyfish Entertainment officially announced the future of Hyeyeon of girl group gugudan.

As of October 25, Jellyfish Entertainment said via fan website that "We would like to thank the fans who support and love gugudan. We would like to inform you about the future activities of member Hyeyeon prior to the comeback news. Hyeyeon has been taking a rest due to health reasons and concentrated on her study. And we have been talking about the future career path and activities in the entertainment industry for Hyeyeon. After deliberation, Hyeyeon decided to conclude her activities as a group and decided to concentrate a little more on academic and health recovery for the time being. Although she will discontinuing her activities with gugudan, she still continues to be affiliated with Jellyfish Entertainment."
