According to NEW, the distributor of the movie on 24th, the movie has reached 5.41 million viewers as of October 21. The movie was invested about 21 billion won and the break-even point was 5.8 million audiences.
'The Great Battle' will also be available on IPTV, digital cable TV VOD, satellite, online, and mobile platform through VOD service starting from 24th. As the movie already exceeded the break-even point, and it is expected to make profits by VOD service.
'The Great Battle' is a film about the battle of Ansi Fortress who fought against the Tang Dynasty's army that invaded Goguryeo. The movie was ranked on the second place after 'Along With the Gods', among Korean films in 2018 in terms of viewers.
