TS Entertainment which is in the legal dispute with Jeon Hyo Sung, the former member of girl group 'Secret', said that "We have no intention of reaching an agreement with Hyosung."
On August 29, the 4th hearing for Jeon's lawsuit against TS Entertainment regarding the non-existence of the effect of her exclusive contract was held at the 14th Civil Court of the Western District Court in Seoul.
On the same day, lawyer representing TS Entertainment said that "We do not intend to reach an agreement with Hyosung. It is our hope that this case be ended early and smoothly. However, if the plaintiff arbitrarily conclude the trial, it means that we cannot operate as an entertainment agency in the future. "
"There is no end of contract with the plaintiff," adding, "Once the plaintiffs have returned the down payment, then we will be able to start discussion about the settlement."
September last year, Jeon Hyo-sung filed a civil lawsuit against TS Entertainment to confirm the invalidity of her exclusive contract with the agency. She claimed that "the issue of settlement and the transfer of management status without regard to the will of the person is a breach of contract".
Hyosung and TS Entertainment still showed differences in payment. Hyosung said, "Even if I did my job, I did not get the profits properly." TS Entertainment countered that there was no problem with the settlement.
