Jurassic World Hits One Million on First Day Opening

Beast-filled blockbuster 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' broke the 1 million viewers on the opening day. It is the fastest achievement with opening record so far. 

On June 6, the movie has hit 1,001,127 viewers as of 4:59 PM, according to Movie Promotion Committee's integrated system. 

This is a the record achieved by 10 hours and 30 minutes of release." Considering that 'Jurassic World: The Kingdom of the Fallen''s first screening time of Korea was at 6:30 am on that day, it exceeded 1 million viewers in exactly 10 hours and 30 minutes later. 

As a result, the movie became a first one to achieve one million viewers on its opening day since the box office has been compiled.
