Kang Dong Won was on the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the 71st Cannes Film Festival held at the Cannes, France on June 8. He came to Cannes to promote his new film "Tsunami LA", his first Hollywood movie. It is known that Kang Dong Won and director Simon West were invited to the opening ceremony of the festival.
Kang Dong won has been shooting 'Tsunami LA' between England and Mexico since April. 'Tsunami LA' is a blockbuster movie that the most powerful tsunami ever hit the LA and caused mass destruction. Kang took a role of a surfer who try to save people.
'Tsunami LA' is scheduled to release in the US in 2019.
