Choi Ji Woo Promises New Start with Lover

Hallyu star Choi Ji Woo announced her marriage hours before the event on Thursday (March 29). Her wedding is held in private.

The 42-year-old actress posted a photo of a handwritten letter on her fan club website which read: "Today is the day that I promise a new start with my partner for life."

Today, she will have a small, private wedding with only family members and close friends in attendance. Her husband to be is known as a ordinary office worker. It is known that they have dated for a year. 

Her management agency, YG entertainment, said the couple had been dating for a year.

She also added that "I am so sorry that I could not open about this before as he and in-law are ordinary people so that not to burden them.

Cho became a super star in Asian region, especially in Japan, for her role in the 2002 drama Winter Sonata.
