Girls Group Twice won the most number of trophies this year, boasting its status as 'The Girl Group of the Year'.

JYP Entertainment announced on its 27th that "Twice won the 33rd prize in music programs this year and set the record of the highest number ever".

According to agency, Twis won his first trophy with 'TT' this year, placed 1st for 9 times with KNOCK KNOCK, 12 times with 'SIGNAL', 7 times with 'Likey' and 4 times with 'Heart Shaker '.

This is the highest ever record in the K pop history including both boy band and girl group, and Twice has once again set a new record and proved its popularity.

Besides, Twice is also showing great performances in many aspects including recordings, music video views, overseas activities. 

In Japan, Twice also topped the Oricon chart and shows off its unparalleled popularity. Also Twice is to appear on NHK's Kohaku Uta Gassen, the year end song contest on December 31st, the only Korean singer in six years.
