BTS was chosen as the 'the most beloved artist to the American' by The New York Times, and BTS is the only Asian singer.


The New York Times posted journal which has the title of 'What Music Do Americans Love the Most? 50 Detailed Fan Maps' on August 7 (local time); then the artists from the 1st to 50th place and the fan distribution map in the United States was announced.

According to this, BTS recorded 44th place and they are the only Asia singer. The New York Times enunciate, "One of the most popular K-Pop team BTS was especially popular in Hawaii and California" and "There was an unusual fan base in the northern part of Wisconsin".


Before that, BTS was selected as 'Most Influential People on the Internet 25' by an American Magazine Time, and they are the only Korean singer.
 

Meanwhile, the survey of The New York Times was held Future on 1st place and Rihanna on 2nd place. They explained, "Among the Billboard's 'Top 100 Artist', they chose 50 artists who American watched through YouTube" and "The map of artists shows relative popularity according to the area".
