IU recently won Song of the Year in the 2012 Korea Pop Music Awards with her hit Good Day.
On February 20, the cute singer was honored with the award, beating other nominees in the 9th Korea Pop Music Awards. Sadly, IU did not attend the event because of health problems.
The Korea Pop Music Awards focuses on popular music and is judged by experts in the field, including pop music critics, pop music journalists, and others.
The award ceremony was hosted by Kim Tae Hoon and featured performances by Garion, 10cm, Gate Flowers, and others.
