Shinhwa holds a news conference for their comeback

Shinhwa are releasing their first album in four years. It’s been already 14 years since their debut.


Shinhwa is holding a press interview at Cheongdam CGV on March 5 to commemorate their comeback and the 14th anniversary of their debut.


A spokesperson for Shinhwa says, “Because this press interview is Shinhwa’s first schedule in four years, the members said they’d like to share it with their fans who have supported them for the last 14 years. So we are planning to broadcast the press interview live in real time online.”


There are 170,000 fans joined in Shinhwa Changjo, Shinhwa’s official fan club. Thanks to them, all 20,000 tickets for Shinhwa’s Seoul concert, which will be held on March 24 and 25 were sold out in only 40 minutes. Besides the fan club, Shinhwa also have strong fan bases in overseas countries as well.


The press interview, scheduled to be broadcast live online, is sponsored by CJ E&M, which is in charge of Shinhwa’s comeback album and concert. Such online TV stations as Mnet.com, Global Mnet.com, and CJ Hellovision’s Tving that are owned by CJ E&M will be mobilized to help Shinhwa interact with their fans from nearly 200 countries, including Korea. Through SNS and comments, two-way communication between Shinhwa and their fans will be provided. K-pop fans from all over the world, Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Oceania, can also watch Shinhwa’s press interview in real time on global.mnet.com.
