Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi is leaving SBS TV’s Kang Shim Jang in March.

On February 21, Park Sang Hyuk, a producer of Kang Shim Jang, reported to Starnews, “Lee Seung Gi is leaving Kang Shim Jang in March. He hasn’t decided exactly when.”

While there is high probability that Lee’s last shooting will be on either March 1 or March 15, producer Park said, “We don’t know exactly when he’ll leave, yet. We’ll have to follow his schedule.”

Lee has hosted Kang Shim Jang since 2009 with Kang Ho Dong. After Kang announced his retirement, he’s hosted the show alone. It was the first time for him to host a talk show alone, but he received favorable reviews for perfectly hosting the show.

However, he decided to leave the show because he’s recently cast as the main role in MBC TV’s new drama series King2hearts.
