SNSD has the highest record of album sales of all Korean singers who released albums in Japan.


According to the Oricon Chart in Japan, released by Gaon Chart on February 17, SNSD sold 642,054 copies of Girl’s Generation, released in June last year.


This is the highest record of album sales of all Korean singers who entered the Japanese market. SNSD’s Hoot also ranked fifth, selling 148,761 copies.


KARA’s Super Girl, released in November last year, ranked second, selling 450,595 copies.


TVXQ’s Tone, released on September 28 last year, ranked third, selling 293,674 copies, and KARA’s Girl Talk ranked fourth, selling 277,306 copies.


The chart has been produced based on each singer’s single albums sold between December 13, 2010, and December 11, 2011.
